Mission Statement

The Mighty Theater is a professional theater company located in Peekskill, NY. We are the theater in residence for the Paramount Center for the Arts, a nonprofit organization that operates as a year-round multidisciplinary center for the arts, serving over 55,000 people annually from throughout the mid-Hudson Valley Region.

Our mission is three-fold:

To produce works that are smart, inventive, and challenging, while still relevant and accessible to our audience

To create a premier arts-in-education program, helping schools to teach theater courses, and raise the students’ awareness of the history and current state of theater

To develop a strong commitment to the community, promoting arts awareness and providing services for the welfare of others.
